Genkaku and Kuro's Adventure!

Why must he always find himself getting into trouble? It always turned out to be the worst kind of trouble as well. He had been materialized for a long time now because of an incident much like what had happened with Muramasa. The only difference was that he wasn't under mind control or brainwashing unlike the last time. Oh yeah it had it perks alright, being on the outside world. But it also had a lot of downfalls. One of those downfalls is getting into trouble miraculously. He didn't even know how he ended up there!

He had been on a mission with a few other Zanpakuto and they decided to separate. Why they decided to separate was beyond him. They would have found the enemy a lot faster if they were together, in his opinion anyway. But it was inevitable. It was almost like Fate was screwing with his head. Like the only reason the group had split up was to make him end up where he was at the very moment. He was not happy in simple terms. NOT HAPPY.

Oh no. It was one thing that he had to go on the mission in the first place; he much would have preferred to be napping in a tree somewhere. But then they split up making the find much more annoying and difficult. Oh and let us not forget the most important fact. He entered a random building in the Rukon District just to go search for the enemy. To see if there were any sort of clues or anything. But whenever he walked further and further down the hallway it got darker and darker, making it hard to see. So he found himself lost in a matter of moments.

He entered a new hallway and it was just as dark as the last one. But before Genkaku even got the chance to use his reiatsu as a light, he found himself dropping from the ground suddenly. No, he didn't trip. The ground beneath him broke and he went toppling down the hole that it made. The hole was a long one too so he found himself falling for a few good seconds before he found himself crashing into the ground that he couldn't see. It was dark in the place he landed in as well, and his patience was drying.

But what surprised him at first was the fact that as soon as he landed there was a very dim light that came on. It revealed four steel walls and the ground remained dirt. When he sat up he looked around the room and he had to do a double take. At first he thought his vision was deceiving him. After all it wasn't every day he saw that. Oh but he saw it. He didn't like it either. Actually this 'it' was a girl. But she wasn't an ordinary one. Oh no, she was far from ordinary.

She was pure white. The only thing that wasn't white was the small black areas on her clothing. Like her belt that was around her waist, or the inside of her pure white shihakusho. Her shihakusho had no sleeves either, which was odd. She had black bandages wrapped around her chest it seemed, and she also had a few white bandages around her left arm. Her hair was also white and really long that reached down to her hips, and it was messy. She also had two long strands that went over her shoulders. But what showed off the most was her eyes, and not necessarily in a good way. They were black and her irises were gold.

Genkaku easily recognized this girl to be a Hollow. After all most of the people he knew weren't pure white and had Hollow eyes. It was a clear giveaway that she was a Hollow. He could also tell she was a Hollow because of the reiatsu. Though he had to admit the area they were in seemed to block off his senses in that way, but he could still tell. By the looks of her, he could also tell that this Hollow must have been Melek Kurosaki's. After all, she looked exactly like Melek. Aside from a few minor changes.

The look on Genkaku's face went from being surprised to being annoyed and not very happy. He stood up and dusted the dust off of his knees. He looked around the room. It wasn't very big but thankfully it was big enough for him to make some distance between him and the Hollow. So, he moved as far away from her as possible. He sat in the upper left corner while the Hollow sat in the lower right corner. They hadn't said anything to each other either and they didn't look at each other.

There was nothing but silence in the room and the light above them flickered and it made the room eerier. Genkaku would occasionally glance at the Hollow to see if she was going to make any strange moves, but other than that he kept as far away from her as possible. He had never met her before and he still wished that he hadn't. She was a Hollow after all. Genkaku despised Hollow's with all his might and he wanted them all dead. But he knew that since this Hollow was an Inner one that belonged to Melek, that if he was to kill her it would not only mess up Melek but it would hurt Jitsugetsu too.

After a long ten minutes Genkaku huffed. He looked over at the Hollow. "What are we doing here?" The ebony haired man asked with a sour tone in his voice. He didn't really want to speak to this Hollow girl, but it seemed like he really had no choice in the matter, and that made him a bit angry. He would have much preferred to not say a word. But he wanted to know something.

She scoffed with and she smirked while she looked at Genkaku. "What kind of dumbass gets himself locked in a room?" Her voice was distorted and it was taunting. She clearly wasn't impressed with the fact that Genkaku managed to get himself locked up in the room as well, but he did. She couldn't help but mock the poor man.

Genkaku widened his eyes for a minute. He was surprised that she had answered him with that. He definitely didn't see that one coming. Genkaku frowned. "Apparently, you're as much one as me." He countered with his tone still sour and annoyed. He already hated this Hollow and he only just started talking to her. He began to wonder why he of all the damn Zanpakuto ended up getting locked in a room with a snarky Hollow. He couldn't help but deepen the frown on his face.

The Hollow rolled her gold eyes and she kept her smirk. "Whatever. Listen, what's your name?" She asked with her tone not sounding curious in the least. It almost sounded like she just wanted to know his name so she could taunt him better or something. Her distorted voice also disturbed Genkaku a little bit; he wasn't exactly a fan of it at all.

"Billy the clown. What's your name?" His voice reeked with sarcasm and it looked like it annoyed the Hollow. But the Hollow only showed annoyance for a moment until she smirked again.

"Kuro Shirosaki, probably a billion times better than your name." Ah, so that was her name Kuro Shirosaki. Genkaku frowned at the comment though, about her name being better than his own. He scowled and he couldn't help but glare at the annoying pale white girl sitting across the room from him. "So you gonna tell me your real name, BUD?" Kuro asked putting emphasis on the 'bud' part of her sentence. Clearly she was already beginning her taunts and Genkaku was not happy.

Genkaku huffed. "Genkaku Shojou, HOLLOW." He put extra emphasis on the last thing he had said in his sentence as well, as though he was trying to counter what Kuro had said to him. Genkaku pulled his knees to his chest and he rested his chin on them while glaring at Kuro.

Kuro smirked and she looked very amused. "Shojou? Oh my god…" She chuckled a little bit and it was almost creepy, considering her voice was distorted. Not only that but it wasn't a psychotic laugh, like what Genkaku had expected. "You're a girly-man. Oh my god." She laughed again and this time it was louder and much more amused. She didn't stop laughing either and it was quickly getting on Genkaku's nerves. She had controlled her laughed though to a quiet distorted giggle.

"Shut the hell up, Kuro." He snapped with anger in his voice and Kuro stopped laughing when she looked at him. She stuck out her blue tongue and she pulled down her eyelid. Genkaku narrowed his eyes and he resisted the urge to go over there and do some serious damage to her. He knew better than to hurt her though so he just remained where he was and he never dropped the glare on her either.

Kuro stopped laughing and she crossed her arms over her chest. "I don't know why Jitsu-senpai cares so much about you. You're such a stiff." Kuro was going to say more, but Genkaku seemed to have snapped at what she had just said. It was clear that Jitsugetsu had told Kuro about Genkaku sometime after they went back to their Inner World's. But obviously Kuro wasn't paying much attention to her. However, when she heard Genkaku's name, she knew it was him.

"SHUT UP!" Genkaku shouted as he stood up suddenly from where he was sitting. Kuro widened her eyes a little as she looked up at the temperamental man. But then Kuro smirked in amusement; this was all too amusing to her. Genkaku huffed and he sat back down and he exhaled to calm himself down. Remember Genkaku, she's a part of Melek and Jitsugetsu…The spiky haired man told himself to restrain from self from doing any kind of damage to Kuro.

"You're rather sensitive aren't you?" Kuro asked as she stretched her arms, letting out an obnoxious yawn. Genkaku remained silent and all he did was glare at Kuro with daggers.

Kuro shifted herself a little bit and she closed her eyes while stretching out her whole body. She leaned back in her corner and shifted a little bit again. She looked like she was trying to get comfortable, but it looked like it wasn't working. Genkaku watched her and looked very faintly confused. He expected more taunts or something but she didn't say anything. She almost looked ready to take a nap or something.

He never noticed it before, but Kuro did look a little bit tired. It made Genkaku wonder something. "How long have you been in here?" He asked with a curious tone in his voice. After all with the way that Kuro was trying to get comfortable, and with the tired look on her face, he couldn't help but ask.

Kuro glared at Genkaku which surprised him a little bit. "None of your business, girly-man." She answered with an annoyed tone in her voice. Genkaku twitched at the damned nickname but he sighed and tried to remain calm. Obviously Kuro had been in the room longer than she would have liked to be in there. It was a little surprising though. She was so weird and taunting a moment ago, then she went all weird and serious. Genkaku sweat dropped and shook his head at her weird mood swings.

"Will it kill you to answer?" Genkaku was curious and he wanted an answer.

Kuro rubbed her forehead and she let out a groan of annoyance. Genkaku couldn't help but smirk. He was getting his revenge without even meaning to. He began to get amused by the Hollow's annoyed expression. He didn't know why but it did satisfy him to see her annoyed. There was no way he was going to be in a room and not annoy this thing. Especially after all the annoyances that she was giving him. Kuro turned back and looked at him and she almost looked psychotic. She didn't have a smirk though, she had an annoyed frown on her face and her eyes read weary.

"Four days-"

"FOUR DAYS?!" Genkaku exclaimed in absolute shock. He couldn't believe his ears. He really began to wish that he somehow infected himself with his hallucinations. There was no way in Hell that Kuro had been in this place for four days. Then again, what did he know? He just arrived there. But he didn't like the sound of 'four days'. That meant no one had found Kuro. That meant that no one knew where she was. That meant that no one would know where Genkaku is. That meant that Genkaku was stuck with a Hollow for God knows how long!

There was no way in Hell that Genkaku would allow himself to be stuck inside of a small room with a Hollow. He would not allow it. He did not want it. He wanted out, and he wanted out NOW. He looked around the room. He looked up from where he fell, but there was nothing there. The hole that was once there was now gone. He couldn't stand being in the room any longer, now that he knew how long Kuro was stuck in it. Genkaku thought of a brilliant plan! He stuck his hand out in front of him and he opened up his palm, expected his sword to form in his hands. But nothing happened. NOTHING HAPPENED.

The room must have had some sort of seal on it, making it impossible for either of them to get their swords. It must have had some sort of spell on it to make it that way too. That must have been why he could barely feel any reiatsu coming from Kuro. That was also probably the reason why there was no other reiatsu's lingering in the room. It must have been because no one else had been in the room at all except for Genkaku and Kuro. But if that was the case, then…Genkaku shook his head and his eyes narrowed in confusion.

It must have been a trap from the very beginning. The enemy must have known that Melek's Hollow was out of the Inner World, so the enemy trapped her in the room. The enemy then obviously knew that Genkaku, being a Zanpakuto, and just being who he is in general, hates Hollows. So he somehow managed to get Genkaku's group to split apart so that Genkaku could end up in the room with Kuro. It all began to make sense to Genkaku now. Genkaku scowled. When he was to get out of that room he would find the enemy and kick his sorry little ass for doing what he did.

Genkaku was about to start banging on the walls when he noticed something odd going on with Kuro. He stopped and he looked down at her. He had never left his side of the room, but he looked a little confused. She was shaking and it almost sounded like she was hyperventilating. Genkaku rolled his eyes, immediately thinking it was some sort of trick to get him over there, so that Kuro could hurt him or something. He shook his head and he crossed his arms. "What's wrong with you?" He asked sourly.

Kuro looked up and she glared at Genkaku. Once again she looked psychotically tired. "I need to kill something, man…" She answered almost as if she were in a lot of pain. Genkaku still figured it was just some sort of trick to get him over there to be 'worried' about her. But there was no way in Hell that Genkaku would worry about a Hollow. "It's my medication, man…" She almost sounded like a drug addict. The tone in her voice made Genkaku skeptical and he remained where he was. He didn't know whether to be sickly amused by a Hollow's 'pain' or to be concerned if she was going to try to eat him alive. Then again, if he needed to he could knock her out, so he wasn't worried about getting eaten alive.

Still Genkaku was curious. "What do you mean? Medication?" He asked with an annoyed look on his face. It almost sounded like Kuro had some sort of disease and she needed to 'kill' something to keep herself sane. Genkaku was definitely confused. What could she kill in her Inner World anyway? He sat back down on the ground and he huffed, patiently awaiting an answer.

"Medication, as in it helps me feel better. Calms me down. You know a stress outlet." Kuro scowled and Genkaku still looked confused. He didn't like the tone in her voice though. She was sounding like a smartass, and Genkaku only wanted to go over there so he could at least back hand her so he could relieve his annoyance. "I can do one of two things. Kill birds. Or knock down trees. Currently I can't do either." Well, it looked like both of Genkaku's questions were answered.

Apparently there were birds in her world that she could kill. Then he found out that it was something that 'calmed' Kuro down. He scowled; it was a pretty weird stress outlet. Still, Genkaku couldn't care less about how Kuro was feeling. He couldn't bring himself to actually care about such a creature. All he was thinking about was ways to get out of the room they were in. He was hoping he would find out before Kuro tried to freaking eat him alive or something.

But then he heard laughing. Genkaku regretfully turned his head towards Kuro. She had that same psychotic look on her face and she had a wide smirk on her face, showing off her sharp white teeth. Kuro had malice in her eyes and she looked like she was ready to tear Genkaku up. Genkaku stood up cautiously. He didn't move from where he was he remained standing there but if he had to he would go over there and knock Kuro right the Hell out. Kuro stood up also and she began to walk over to Genkaku, she stopped a few paces away.

"I can kill you right?" She asked with a sadistic tone in her voice. Genkaku widened his eyes a little and he furrowed his black eyebrows. "I only want to kill you a little bit." Genkaku froze for a moment as he swore he had heard those words before. His eyes flashed for a moment and he was brought back to the moment where he and Jitsugetsu were trying to find Aiko and her depression symptom took control of her body. Jitsugetsu's symptom had said exactly what Kuro had just now.

Genkaku narrowed his eyes and he glared at Kuro. "No. Just stay where you are and cool your damn jets." The ebony haired man warned as he looked around the room. He couldn't care less about the Hollow's health or what she was feeling. He wasn't going to let Kuro hurt him just so she could feel satisfaction. Kuro took another step towards him though, and he turned and looked back at her. "Kuro, I really don't (can't) want to hurt you. Back off." He was getting annoyed now and his anger seeped into his voice.

"Listen, girly-man! I need some sort of meds!" Kuro snapped with an angry tone in her voice. She too was getting annoyed with Genkaku; all she wanted was to kill him a little bit. Was that so bad? Kuro narrowed her gold and black eyes at Genkaku and Genkaku glared right back at her. Genkaku could see his reflection in Kuro's golden irises and Kuro too could see her reflection in Genkaku's coal black eyes. Kuro stopped for a moment, and her smirk came back onto her face. It was a cruel and sadistic smirk. "Oh never mind. I'll kill you some other time." She waved her pale hand and she went back to sitting in her corner.

Genkaku looked confused at first. There was that weird personality change again. He scowled and he sat back down as well, and he never kept his eyes off of the crazy Hollow. There was not telling when she would go berserk and try to attack him. He may not have been able to use his sword, no. But he did have other means of attack. He could do hand to hand combat and take care of the problem easily. But then again, it also depended on how fast this girl was. Genkaku scowled at the thought and he turned his head away from her.

The young man stretched his body out and he lied down on the dirt ground while placing his arms behind his head. He figured that he might as well sleep; there was nothing better to do. He was a little skeptical to do that though, considering the fact that Kuro would probably remain awake. But after some deep thinking he sighed and figured that she was probably too tiredly psychotic to want to mess with him. So Genkaku closed his eyes and he began to sleep, and boy, it was most definitely a hard sleep to get to.

It was the next morning, or perhaps it wasn't even morning. For all Genkaku knew he was only asleep for a couple hours and he suddenly woke up. The room the two were in was very disorienting and troublesome for their senses. It was absolutely impossible to tell what day it was or what time it was. Still, Genkaku felt as if he had slept for a while, but he couldn't be sure. However, that's not what made him irritated. He would have been fine waking up in a nice and calm peaceful way, but no, he didn't even get that. He was already being pestered. And Genkaku could tell that it was going to be a long day.

He was still half asleep so his hearing wasn't the best. But he could still feel. He felt someone lightly kicking his side and then he heard someone telling him to wake up. In his mind he hoped it was Riina or at least someone he was happy to be around. But he knew that it wasn't Riina. No, it was the bratty Hollow at her work again. She had been saying 'Wake up, baka-girly-man', and other such things and Genkaku let out a low growl of annoyance. As Kuro slammed her foot into his side again, not too harshly though, Genkaku sat up with anger in his eyes.

"STOP KICKING ME YOU PAIN IN THE ASS!" Genkaku shouted causing his voice to echo off of the walls in the room. It took Genkaku a lot of mental strength to not hit her back. But he did push Kuro away from him, and Kuro skidded back and almost lost her balance. But she still smirked in amusement. Genkaku hated waking up suddenly and rudely. He just wanted some peace, and he couldn't even find that in sleep.

"Ohoho. Girly-man is asserting himself today. I guess you can stay." The pale white girl laughed in a mocking tone as she turned away from him for a moment. She leaned against her wall that was on her side of the room.

Genkaku scowled. "'I guess you can stay' what the hell is that supposed to mean?! I can't go anywhere!" He snapped with an annoyed tone in his voice. Then he glared at her while he crossed his arms. "And I swear, if you kick me again I will destroy you."

"You should have woken up then, girly-man." Kuro taunted as she stuck out her blue tongue. Genkaku growled in frustration but he remained silent. Genkaku wished that Kuro was like every other Hollow; that way he could at least kill her without damaging Melek and Jitsugetsu. "So, do you have any plans on how we can get out?" Kuro asked as she looked at him expectantly. Genkaku glared at her. What did she think he was? Some organized guy who knew how to get out of impossible-to-get-out-of rooms? Genkaku shook his head and kept himself quiet.

Genkaku on any other occasion would have broken down the halls. But he knew better than that. He knew that he was underground and that if the walls were to collapse, well, then Genkaku and Kuro would be trapped in rubble, which would be way worse than being locked in a room that's stable. Genkaku glared intensely at the walls though. There must have been a catch to this room; he just wished he knew what it was. Actually, he did know one thing that was wrong with the room. That was the fact that it was messing with his senses. The reiatsu he once felt coming off of Kuro was no longer there.

It was hard to tell whether it was because she personally lowered her reiatsu or because the room itself was hacked up to be that way. Either way, Genkaku didn't like it, because he could barely feel his own reiatsu that resided inside of him. It was definitely something that Genkaku was worried about. He didn't want to lose his reiatsu or something like that. But then again, he didn't really think that that was possible.

Kuro however seemed to be taking the situation rather lightly. Either it was because she was amused now that she had someone to taunt, or because she had been in there for so long that she didn't really care how much longer she stayed in there. However, in her eyes, as much as Genkaku hated to look at them, he could see that Kuro wanted to get out desperately. In all honesty, Genkaku didn't blame her for that, because he didn't want to be in there either. But, Genkaku had better things to worry about rather than Kuro's ambitions on getting out.

Was there any real way to get out? Genkaku didn't think that there was. He felt that he would be locked in there for god knows how long. The enemy was definitely a smart one. If his plan was to make Genkaku lose his mind then he was doing a pretty fair job. Or if the enemy's plan was to make Genkaku force himself work with Kuro than the enemy would not prevail. Genkaku refused to agree to ever work with a bratty little Hollow like Kuro. It was bad enough that he couldn't hurt her, but if he had to work with her his pride would be ruined. Not only his pride though, everything. His whole being would be destroyed in moments.

Genkaku already began to get a headache from even thinking about working with that brat across the room. He shivered and huffed at the thought. He looked over at Kuro who looked amused by his actions, and immediately Genkaku scowled with utter annoyance. "I don't care about what you're thinking. I won't work with you. I don't care about you!" The ebony haired man wanted to make sure that Kuro knew that he would not work with her.

Kuro smiled, not smirked, but smiled, and that caught Genkaku off guard. Mostly because the smile wasn't exactly a nice one. It was a mocking one. She looked challengingly at him almost and her smile never dropped. "Oh, of course you do." Her distorted voice was soft and sweet, but at the same time it was cruel and taunting.

Genkaku frowned and his eyebrows furrowed a bit at what she had said, and his eyes widened a little bit. He had no idea what she was trying to get at by saying that but he sighed and he turned away from her. He couldn't stand looking at her for longer than ten seconds, and even that was pushing his limits. He huffed and shook his head. It seemed that this was absolutely impossible. The enemy had really made a great trap, Genkaku wouldn't deny that. He wished though, he could use his sword to break out, but it was impossible.

But then there was an odd noise, and the ground began to shake. Genkaku's eyes widened a little bit. Was it an earthquake? No, that didn't exactly seem natural; it wasn't exactly something that happened in the Soul Society. So what was it then? The shaking got harder and it was hard to stand up, so Genkaku held onto the wall for balance, while Kuro just kept herself shuffled in her corner. That probably wasn't that bad of an idea, because if it was an earthquake of sorts the ground above may break and go crumbling down.

It happened too, the ground above them did come tumbling down and quickly, Genkaku moved to a corner and raised his hands to block out the dust and ground that began to collapse. But the crumbling soon stopped and there was a large hole above them. Genkaku looked up with wide eyes, but he was smiling. He looked over to Kuro only to see that she was gone. Genkaku didn't care though because a rope was thrown into the hole so he could climb up, and he did so happily.

When he hopped up he found himself met with Ashisogi Jizo, Heineko, and Zabimaru was there too. They had found him and saved him, and Genkaku couldn't be happier. He couldn't care less where that Hollow went either. He just so happy to be out of that damned cage. "Guys! Thanks! You have no idea how torturous it was in there!" Genkaku said with a happy tone in his voice. He was grateful alright.

Zabimaru patted Genkaku's shoulder as her snake partner sat up on his tail. "It was no problem. Surprising that you got locked in a room though…" Her voice sounded a bit skeptical and Genkaku sweat dropped. "Whatever, let's go! We think we found the enemy's trail."

Genkaku couldn't help but laugh, he was just so happy to be away from that Hollow. He nodded and with that the group of them began to leave the place and they headed to where Zabimaru felt the enemy's reiatsu. But of course he had been trailing behind everyone else because he wasn't fast enough. Then they all began to flash step to get there faster, except for Genkaku, because he didn't know flash step. He slowed to a fast walk and he huffed.

Of course they would flash step to where they last felt the enemy's reiatsu. Of course they would forget that Genkaku didn't know how to flash step. Genkaku couldn't help but be annoyed. But, it was a lot better than being stuck in a steel room with a Hollow. Genkaku was satisfied enough to breathe in fresh air. He was happy he saw nature again, even though it was only a day. It felt like an eternity to him.

--

Kuro grunted and her hands drew to the ones that were holding her neck tightly. She barely managed to choke out short breathes as the tall man choked her. Her pure white eyebrows were furrowed as she struggled to pull his hands free from her grasp. She managed to say that she couldn't breathe but the enemy smirked and taunted her. Kuro was about to kick him, but the man let go of her neck and he slammed her into the walls corner. Kuro coughed so she could catch her breath and she huffed shaking a little bit.

The enemy had black weirdly shaped hair. It was a mix of long hair that had curls in it, but they were weird manly curls. They could also be known as dreadlocks in some people's eyes but not in Kuro's. He wore black clothing too, but his pants were a dark navy blue colour. His under shirt was a dark green. His eyes were a pale yellow, almost like Jitsugetsu's eyes but they weren't nearly as lively as Jitsugetsu's eyes were. His skin was pale as well, but it wasn't nearly as pale as Kuro's skin.

After recollecting herself Kuro glared at the enemy and her oversized Zanpakuto formed in her hands. She swung the white and black blade at the enemy to make some distance between herself and him. The enemy jumped back and landed a good few feet away from the Hollow girl. Kuro growled under her breath as she never kept her golden eyes off of him. The sun reflected light off of Kuro's white blade and she thought of an idea. She directed her sword at the enemy to blind him, and then quickly she dashed towards him.

He was quick though and he side stepped out of the way before Kuro could hit him. Kuro cursed under her breath and she jumped out of the way and she went to glide her sword across the enemy's chest. Her cut was affective, but it was not nearly as deep as what Kuro would have liked. She would have much preferred if her blade went further into his chest, but it seemed like she would have to use a different tactic. The man made a punch in her direction and quickly Kuro jumped out of the way.

She turned around and as she did the enemy's blade made a clean straight cut down her chest. Kuro halted for a moment as blood sprayed from her new wound. Kuro cursed and she backed away from him while her hand gravitated to her new chest wound. She moved her hand in front of her vision to see dark red blood soaking her hand. She smirked as she held her blade with both of her hands. She began to feel a rush of sweet and utter adrenaline rush through her.

The enemy and Kuro circled in on each other and they then ran in to each other. Kuro ended up cutting his side while she ran to him, and he managed to do the same except on the other side of Kuro. Kuro turned around quickly while she fired a white Suta Senko that was outline in black. Then she jumped back and waited for the smoke and dust to clear away from the enemy to see what kind of damage her attack did. The smoke cleared and it revealed that the enemy had a deep cut going down his shoulder, and Kuro couldn't help but laugh in triumph.

He turned towards her he raised his blade and it showed that blood was dripping off of it, which was odd. Kuro didn't remember getting cut by him twice as she turned around and fired her Suta Senko. She paused for a moment and she looked at her left shoulder. It was cut alright, and bleeding, but thankfully it wasn't bleeding that bad. Kuro frowned at this, but still her heart pumped with the lovely feeling of adrenaline. Again, simultaneously the enemy and Kuro ran at each other clashing their swords together. The enemy may have had a deep cut on him, but he was still moving pretty well.

While they were trying to push one another back, Kuro couldn't help but feel like she was being over powered by the man. She frowned at that as she pushed against the enemy's blade. It felt like her reiatsu was failing her, and she couldn't feel much of her reiatsu when she thought about it closely. Ever since she entered that room, actually, she hasn't been able to feel her reiatsu much at all. It was like it was gone, but she knew that that was impossible. It had to have been. Kuro yelled and slammed her blade against the enemy's and she pushed him back a little bit.

Then, before Kuro could do anything the enemy charged at her and he kicked her hard in the stomach. Kuro grunted and some blood came out from her mouth as she coughed. Kuro caught her bearings though and she thrust her hand out in front of her. She began to charge up a bright red cero in her hand. "Cero!" She yelled firing the bright red fully charged beam at the enemy.

--

Genkaku stopped suddenly when he felt an explosion and a rush of wind blow past him. The reiatsu was weak but he definitely recognized it right away. He looked over his shoulder with a frown on his face. He didn't like the feel of the explosion and the bright red tinge that was in the air didn't suite well with him. He recognized it to be Kuro's reiatsu and the red light must have been from a cero that she fired. Genkaku huffed and he turned back around in the direction he was going.

But then there was another explosion and Genkaku whipped his head over his shoulder back at the place where he felt the explosion. He cursed under his breath in annoyance. "She's going to kill someone…" The ebony haired man whispered to himself with an angry tone in his voice. He hesitated but he fully turned around and he began to run towards where the explosions were coming from.

Little did he know that those explosions weren't meant to be killing the innocent…

--

Kuro huffed and breathed harshly. Her breaths were shaky and hoarse. She had no idea why but when she fired her cero it made her hand bleed, but not only that it was actually hard to fire the cero, and she had no idea why. Usually she would fire a cero like nothing, but this time was different, and Kuro didn't understand why. Her hand was shaking as well, and it felt numb and almost paralyzed even. Kuro looked at her bloody hand before she looked back over at the enemy. She glared at him with weary black and gold eyes.

The enemy had one hand on his hip and he smirked at Kuro's sudden weakness. A weakness that Kuro didn't understand. He did get damaged from her attack though. He had a few deep burns on his chest and he was bleeding in some places. But he didn't seem at all phased by it. He seemed to have been ignoring the pain quite well.

The two charged at each other again and they swung their weapons at each other. The two blades clashed sending sparks off of their blades. Kuro had lost her enjoyment in the fight after her cero failed her. If she were at her full strength she would have been much more happy and sadistic, but no, for some reason she was running on weak energy. The enemy pushed her blade away and he aimed his thin blade a Kuro's neck. Kuro's golden eyes widened for a moment and she quickly side stepped but, the blade still nicked her neck, causing her to bleed.

Blood pushed its way out of the new cut and Kuro quickly swiped her blade down the man's chest, which made blood spray from his chest and land on Kuro. After that attack Kuro jumped out of the way and she turned around quickly while firing another white Suta Senko. The enemy was quick as well though, he turned and he blocked the attack, however he was pushed back a bit. Kuro narrowed her eyes and she did her best to ignore the stinging feeling on her neck. She couldn't help but place her hand there to try to stop the bleeding; it began to be a nuisance to her.

"Have you realized it yet?" The man asked with a taunting tone in his voice. Kuro narrowed her eyes and huffed. She didn't know what the man was going on about and she didn't care either. She just wanted her power to come back to her. She wanted to have fun with this battle but it seemed that she was already losing. She looked disgusted at the thought of losing. It was the last thing that she wanted.

"What do you mean? Realized what?" Kuro asked with an annoyed tone in her voice. She didn't even want to speak to the man but it looked like she didn't have much of a choice. The pale girl removed her hand from her neck and she looked at her hand momentarily. She huffed again and she placed her hand on her white blade again.

"You're weaker. Obviously, how could you have not noticed?" He was mocking her and Kuro didn't like that. Her hands gripped her sword tighter and if it was even possible her knuckles would have turned more white. "Let me explain. You were in the room for five straight days. You had no sunlight and you began to feel less of your reiatsu as each day passed, correct?" Kuro nodded to what he had said and she furrowed her white eyebrows in confusion. "Well, you noticed that the walls were made of steel, or I should hope you did. Well, they were draining your reiatsu from you. That is why you are weaker, that is why you have barely any reiatsu left."

Kuro's eyes widened a moment and she flashed back to the days where she was locked and dropped in the room. At first she didn't think that the steel walls were of any importance, aside from the fact that it was more dangerous to break. She always did wonder why she wasn't able to form her sword or even charge a cero to get out. She never would have guessed that it was because the steel walls were absorbing and stealing her reiatsu. She could not believe it and so she concluded that she wouldn't believe it. But something in her heart, even if it was a small heart, told her that it was true. Kuro narrowed her eyes.

The man laughed and Kuro got more annoyed and angry as he did. Kuro let out a yell of anger and she ran at him. The man had stopped laughing but he still had his smirk on his face. His eyes widened a little bit when Kuro suddenly sent a Suta Senko at him again. He thrust his blade out in front of him and he got pushed back from the force of the attack. Smoke erupted afterwards and the man coughed. He looked around, trying to find Kuro. It was hard to see because of the heavy smoke. Then there she was suddenly. First he saw the tip of her blade right in front of his face, then her body. Kuro had been smirking and she swung her blade forward.

He frowned and quickly got out of the way by side stepping, well he almost did. The blade still swiped underneath his eyes causing them to bleed. He was quick though. He had gripped his blade's hilt tighter and he swung down quickly at Kuro's chest. Kuro grunted loudly and frowned as the blade made a deep clean cut on her chest and stomach. Blood splatted from her body and she was kicked backwards. She went barreling into a building and she was encased in the wall. She grunted and huffed while she tried to pull her arms free. Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth, and the top of her head had been bleeding as well.

Kuro was about to pull herself out of the wall when the enemy was right in front of her again. Kuro widened her golden weary eyes as she moved her orbs up to look at his own light yellow ones. He had a look of malice and sadist in his expression. An expression that Kuro usually wore, but she couldn't bring herself to have an expression like that. After all, she barely had any power currently and she felt weak and pathetic. She barely managed to get damage on the enemy either, aside from a few deep cuts. Before Kuro could make a move the man grabbed the top of her head and Kuro cringed as the tips of his fingers sunk a little bit in her head.

She let out a loud gasp of pain as the man threw her out of the wall and slammed her a few feet into the ground. Her head had been bleeding more now and her arms felt numb from the impact. The pale girl scowled as she got up on her hands and knees. She began to pant a little bit and she spat out some blood that was in her mouth. She never did like the sweet taste of blood, not her own anyway.

Kuro stood up quickly with her blade in her hands and she went to make a swing the same time that the man had. Her blade was aimed lower, more towards his stomach while his was raised higher, to her head. Kuro had no choice but to stop her attack and she quickly leaned backwards so that the man's blade couldn't cut her head. She grunted as she turned her body around and she sweep kicked the man to try to knock him off balance. Unfortunately for Kuro he had countered that and he instead jumped up and jumped kicked Kuro, sending her backwards.

The man was silent as he began to walk up to Kuro. He looked menacing still though, and even though he did have some deep cuts he was still overpowering the weakened Hollow girl. Kuro would never admit to such a thing out loud, and she felt her heart sink in her chest, mostly because of how much pride she was losing. She felt so pathetic and ashamed of herself, and she could only imagine what her brother would say to her. Melek too, they'd both mock her and be unimpressed. And Jitsugetsu. Kuro growled and she slammed her fist into the ground.

Kuro turned around and faced the enemy. She went to stand up but she was kicked right back down and she landed on her behind. She scowled and placed her hand out in front of her again. It may not have worked last time…But maybe this time…The pale girl had to try. She didn't want to go down in a pathetic way. Kuro began to form a bright red cero in her hand, making a red tinge spread out throughout the area.

Suddenly, Kuro's hand felt cold and numb almost paralyzed. The first thing she saw was a tip of a blade backwards and pointing at her. The other thing she noticed was that her cero stopped, and her hand was sizzling. The man had thrust his blade straight through the palm of her hand, stopping her from even firing a cero. Kuro widened her eyes so much she was surprised they didn't fall out from her eyes. If she could have, she probably would have looked paler as well. Her body was shaking a little too from the pure shock of her cero being stopped, and the crazy numb feeling in her hand. Her hand had never felt so odd before. It was stinging but it was cold and it was still wet with blood.

Kuro's wide gold eyes moved up to look at her enemy. The enemy was smirking in a smug way and he kept his blade in the middle of her palm. The world around Kuro began to grow silent and she could only hear her heartbeat and her shallow shaky breathing. She could hear the echo of the pumping of her heart. It almost sounded like it was slowing down, but it was hard to tell whether it actually was or not. Her vision was clear though and so she found it odd that she could only hear the sound of her shallow breaths and heavy beating heart. But then her vision did something weird, and it was a sensation that Kuro had never felt before. Her vision thumped with the beat of her heart and all she could see was the taunting look on the enemy's face. Then her vision thumped again and it went back to normal, and then she only paid attention to the deafening sound of her heart.

The enemy's smirk grew as it looked as if Kuro was frozen. He thrust his blade upwards suddenly, causing Kuro's hand to not only slit, but have blood spray from her hand. Then he slammed his foot into her chest. Kuro still couldn't hear anything, she only felt the force of her being sent backwards and crashing and skidding into the ground, leaving a long streak in the ground. By now Kuro's sword had dissolved back into her and so she had no means of attacking. Kuro managed to grunt and she tried to raise herself upwards, but she didn't do a well job of it. She felt so sore but she would never admit it, or show it, or at least she tried not to show it. She slowly began to hear things again but it was still very hard to hear. Kuro managed to prop herself on her elbows and she looked up to see the enemy standing a few paces away from her. Unfortunately for Kuro, he was close enough to make an attack.

The enemy laughed and Kuro could hear it. Just hearing it though made Kuro want to gag and throw up blood or something. I almost made her want to be able to only hear her heart again. Then again, that was actually a feeling that scared Kuro. Kuro frowned and her weary eyes almost closed but she forced herself to keep them open. She couldn't move from where she was sitting though, as much as she wanted to. She tried everything, but her muscles simply did not respond to her wants or needs. Kuro's shallow breaths slowed down and as they did, the man swung his blade down.

Kuro expected to feel more pain and blood spray from her body. She expected to be absolutely and completely paralyzed from the impact of the enemy's sword. Once again the only thing she could hear was her heart beats and shallow breaths. It was almost as if time slowed down this time as well, because the sight she saw was unbelievable. She couldn't believe it but she had no choice, after all her eyes never have failed her before. Kuro was in such shock that one of her elbows collapsed and it caused her to shift a little bit, which only brought more pain to her. She remained barely sitting up on one elbow and her body was shaking. Kuro opened her mouth and her bottom lip was shaking a little bit, mostly because of the sheer pain of simply opening her mouth. Her distorted voice quavered a little bit as she took a shallow exhale.
